Here is a mixtape that reflects my personality and taste in dance music, with this mix I was inclined to fuse indie dance and Dark Disco to tell my story of the past months. This style has also been influencing the sound of our brand-new label @levant disco, as well as our musical taste in the future of dance music, deriving in it many musical ideals. This mixtape contains for me the representative sounds for a genre which we have experimenting with, so I happily present you this blend of sounds, and hoping you to enjoy it as much as we do 😊 If you like this mix follow me on SoundCloud for my upcoming releases and hear the fresh sound that we have been experimenting in our sonic lab!

Based in Buenos Aires, normtusa is a rising South American label focused on publishing sonorities that blend darkness and melody, progressiveness and ethnicity, always aiming at bringing to life dance-floor-oriented cuts whose past-meets-present aura result in themes devoted to pleasing the most demanding ears when it comes to high-quality electronic music.

For its forthcoming episode, normtusa welcomes back Molsy, the label owner himself, who has opened the vaults of his inner influences to deliver some darker cuts to contrast with the groovy and funky aura of his output as Max Ølsen: "Faces" is a Rock-infused and intense theme that showcases the man of the hour's versatility – it must not be so easy to switch from Max Ølsen’s House & Tech House to Molsy’s Indie Dance & Dark Disco and keep the standard high. Enriching the release, super remixes by veterans Mundo D, ETANE, and Tierra De Ovnis (SXDNS295), and newcomer NQUA. 

Premiered here, Tierra De Ovnis’ interpretation brings the original to another realm: An acid and psychedelic take with the characteristic extraterrestrial touch of the skilled Mexican virtuoso. The softer guitar riffs allied with the Miss-Kittin-like vocals fixed up a kind of Post-Punk & Electro Clash atmosphere, which helped to keep the aforementioned Rock vibe.

A storm rages as final preparations are made to bring the Bride to life. Her bandage-wrapped body is raised through the roof, where electricity is harnessed from lightning to animate her. Henry and Pretorius lower her and, after realizing their success in bringing her to life, remove her bandages and help her to stand.

the Bride of Frankenstein is one of my favorite Queens of Darkness. Why? Certainly, the “role” of a bride was the ideal standard that women were expected to achieve in 1930s American society, and the ultimate prize that men were pressured to obtain. Frankenstein’s Bride, created for the sole purpose of fulfilling the monster’s desire for companionship, not only refuses to yield to the masculine demands for submission, but also acts effectively as the glue that holds Bride of Frankenstein together. She is the impetus that drives the action, and the catalyst that brings the destruction. She is wanted, hated, feared, and admired more than any other character in this film.

Press play and surrender yourself to my musical interpretation of the Bride's life journey, from creation, through learning to speak, forming ideas, fight for her beliefs, and ultimately orchestrating her own permanent destruction.
