80%BAUL is the solo project of Raul Paez 1995, Hospitalet de Llobregat. Instrumentally, he uses an analogue synthesizer, digital and analogue drums, electric bass, prepared sounds and vocals. Project that has evolved over 3 years, riding between postpunk, new wave, synthpop, ebm, italo, and new beat. Lyrics that try to materialize what happens and moves us inside, to understand what we feel and what we want. Going down to the depths to see the darkness and turning it upside down to see the light as a creative engine. Percussions that seek movement and dance, accompanied by rounded, dark, melancholic, luminous, sharp and fiery basses. Melodies that unify all of the above and bring light and dreams. Après nous avoir délivré une bastos sur notre dernier vinyle SW02, Sela passe derrière les fournaux aujourd’hui pour notre 57ème podcast. Un gone d’adoption que vous commencez à bien connaître ! Né à Valence, il se procure ses premières platines en 2016, année où il se met à mixer et produire du bon son entre progressive house, electro, minimal et breaks. 

Après plusieurs dates à Londres où il vit ses premières sensations derrière les decks entre warehouses et open platines, il rejoint en 2019 le collectif YA.R. Plus récemment, il a mis sur pied le projet Cabriole qui lui permet de défendre sa vision à travers un festival et des évents en pagaille.

Ce fin digger passe son temps à creuser dans les bacs pour nous proposer des sets en constante évolution avec l'idée de créer un moment présent, vivant et inoubliable pour tout le monde. Pour ce podcast, il est allé chercher son inspiration dans la techno lente et progressive des années 1991 à Goa (voyage sonore assuré). Bon appétit l’équipe 🌯
