For the second release of the year, we are glad to present another compilation combining newcomers and established artists. 

The EP opens with a re-issue of Audio Quests seminal track “The Mental Screen”, originally released on No Bones Records in 1996, where many influences of the era can be heard. Jared Wilson then takes the listener on a twisted acid journey as we have been accustomed by his previous release on the label.

The flipside showcases two up and coming producers, Undersound resident Sohrab and Berlin based KCLF. “Sineking” is an up-tempo track showcasing Sohrab's trademark style, with a driving 101 bass-line and melancholic melodies. The compilation is closed by “Reloaded 9615” an emotional broken beat jam that displays her dexterity with analogue synths and drum machines.

The second release in the exit planet earth compilation vinyl series features four exclusive tracks designed for space travel, including the first ever collaboration between Keith Tucker of Aux 88 and Carl Finlow. The resulting track ‘Coder’ is an electro masterpiece. The more established electro pairing of Jensen Interceptor and Assembler Code hit heavy with ‘Red Cell’ while Voigtmann brings the bass to space with ‘Subtopia’. The record is rounded off beautifully by Cignol with Detroit infused string sections and harmonies on his ‘51D’ track.

In the @Mystictrax Chronicles series we will tell the stories of the formation of underground music in Ukraine, as well as release archival records from local musicians. During the time of carefree parties in the first Keller Bar in Kyiv, walking around Podil Neighborhood, Misha (@luschn1) was seriously fond of dub technomusic. Many years have passed since then, and now an archive recording of that very light summer dub of nights in the Zhitniy market area of Podil is published on Mystictrax.

The psy, the rave, the sounds, the species, the food of the gods. Alpha Juno, Cyclon 303, mutable instruments and ideas collated, N4's modern mysticism to harness the Earth as a being of sound. This occult features an anarchism, offering us a collective immortality, allowing us, showing us, how to be more humane. 

Across eight tracks, our DJ weaves a journey to the inner and outer digi sphere, a two-year search, in to steppas, out of dub, evoking legitimate synthesis and sensibility. Look beyond Zamonia. The lost Chord. An alien dreamtime. Tales of Z.
