The sixth episode, dedicated to the Madrid-based record label "Noise To Meet You", is mixed by Vronsky (@michael-vronsky).

Noise To Meet You was born in 2018 as a music label project aimed to provide a space where
artists that haven’t seen their music released on vinyl could have the opportunity to do so, along
with renowned ones who have been setting trends and providing quality music for years.

A Madrid-based electro label focused on the emotional side of the genre without losing sight of
the dance floor when it comes to its raw and powerful touch. On top of that, the talented
Spanish designer Anita Plástica is in charge of creating the artwork, that characteristic dystopian
visual universe bound to electro.

So far, artists such as The Exaltics, Teslasonic, Synth Alien or Delayscape have seen their tracks
released on the label, together with newcomers such as EBE-2, Module 3F or Zobol, among many
others. Up to now, and with seven limited edition releases in the market, the 8th is scheduled
for January 2023, and two more are in the making for the last part of the year.

With the same wide-ranging approach, Noise To Meet You podcast series offers, every two
weeks, a platform for both famed, newcomers and local talents to express themselves in front
of a growing audience. 214, Francois Dillinger, Plant43, Ivna Ji, and Lloyd Stellar have already
been a part of it.

Last but not least, Noise To Meet You brings together, now and again, its beloved followers at
one of the most iconic clubs in Madrid's underground scene to celebrate their very own N2MU
nights. After two successful parties, get ready for the upcoming third one!

Today we introduce you to the Electro producer and live act OBZERV, based in the U.K. His music inspired by concepts from the realms of science fiction and through his subtle observation of life.

1. Which artists has influenced you the most?

- There is not one artist that has inspired me the most, different artists are constantly inspiring me in different ways. Two artists that come to mind straight away are Animistic Beliefs and The Outsert. These two artist have been inspiring me recently to create music that doesn’t specifically confine to any genre and takes inspiration from different genres and cultures to create something that is different.

2. What new projects/releases with your participation are expected in the near future?

- I have not been working very much on releasing music at the moment but you can expect to see some of my electro work on Cultivated Electronics and GunFinger Food in the coming year.

3. Which artists/labels is more relevant to you now?

- I really have no idea. I want to release some of my new music eventually but I am always asking myself which labels would be good for me to release on. For listening pleasure I have been listening to mostly friends music recently, labels such as Patchbay Records, Gunfinger Food feel relevant to me at the moment because I personally feel involved in their journey.

4. What inspires you now to create music?

- I mostly inspired by my friends to create music. I am constantly working with friends and in the midst of collaboration I feel that my most creative side comes out. I feel a lot more inspired when working with someone than when I am alone, I think this is because you have someone to bounce ideas back and fourth with and I feel a lot less judgmental about my work.

5. What set-up do you use when creating music?

- I have been gigging a bit recently so have been using my hardware to write music for my live sets. I am using a Digitakt, Digitone, SH01A, Micromonsta, a rat distortion pedal and a strymon deco tape saturation pedal. I will create ideas with this set up and try to make them into full tracks later on using ableton to record the sounds.

Fjaartaf is one of the reasons for such reviews, he is one of the people driving the vibrant scene in Tbilisi & part of the reason it is becoming one of the go to clubbing destinations for those in the know. As well as DJing he runs the excellent Mind Controlled Rectifier (MCR) record label & party series. Here we have a full live recording of Fjaartaf in the Lust room at the infamous TES Club Tbilisi.
