A key driving force behind the Middle-East's underground scene, Maks recently made his debut at SW30 and SWDUNES. Here is his recording live from SW30!

After spending the first 25 years of his life in London, Maks moved to the Middle-East, quickly establishing himself as a trailblazing and leading artist, and a pillar of the regional community. Considered to be the originator of minimal and microhouse music in the region, Maks paved the way by inviting, and collaborating with, some of his favourite artists from around the world, most of which had never appeared in that part of the world before.

In his early days, Maks was influenced from growing up in the garage and jungle music environment. Today, he draws inspiration from Chilean electronic dance music visionary Ricardo Villalobos, as well as other formidable artists such as  ‘Perlon’ label co-founder Thomas Franzmann aka Zip, ‘Minibar’ label head Cabanne, and ‘Fabric’ & ‘Houghton Festival’ curator and resident DJ Craig Richards.

Welcome to the 10th episode of Groove Theory.
We've reached the double digits! Happy to have accomplished this milestone. For this episode, I wanted to make it a bit more special. Not only have I invited one of my favorite producers, Distilled Noise, but I've conducted a short interview with him at the start of the episode. Hope you’ll enjoy 🙂

Francesco Tegazzin, better known as Distilled Noise, is originally from the Province of Verona, and now living in Padova, Italy. He’s been involved in music all of his life and found his passion for electronic music more than 10 years ago. He fell in love with sharing what he’s learned about music production and created a YouTube channel as a means to share his knowledge. He also started a Patreon program two years ago which today averages around 150-160 active subscribers per month. In parallel, he keeps developing his career as a music producer and DJ, trying to improve every day and deliver music that resonates with people. He is a source of inspiration for many upcoming artists in the electronic music scene.

This, is Distilled Noise’s Groove Theory.
