Ghijek improvisation

A piece for piano written in 2010. In this piece Impromptu for piano, different degrees of control and freedom are explored. While some passages are totally written out, sometimes only a scale, a set of pitches, a rhythmic pattern, or a graphical representation of the gesture is given. The performer has the freedom to improvise and it is not necessary to follow the score completely.
This was first performed in a gig in City Screen Basement, York on 13 January 2011.
