Hi, have you watched the new episodes of season 4 of "Stranger Things"?
Towards the end of episode 3 when Dr. Sam Owens tries to convince "Eleven" to help him regain his powers, there is a crazy ost, and I really wanted to recreate it, even if with all the background noises and lyrics it was complicated , but i think i did the job :)

Running Out Of Time (Watch The Video)(Free Download)

After a prolonged battle with writers-block, I decided to just sit down and just let "whatever came out" happen.  This track is the result.  Playing with vocal samples and slicers mostly. It breathes in waves, Starting with a meditative trance, building slowly to climax over and over, and then ending with a few minutes of spacey groove to dance to! Hope it doesn't disappoint!  I envisioned one who meditates and achieves astral projection and takes comfort in the cool serenity of the cosmic afterglow, drifting effortlessly through the luminous haze of eternity.

In the dead of night, with eyes that gleam,
A feline shadow, a silent dream.
Whiskers sharp, and claws like steel,
A dangerous ninja, swift to conceal.

Stalking through the dark, without a sound,
Leaving no trace, no evidence found.
A master of stealth, a deadly grace,
This ninja cat, a fearsome face.

Beware the paws that strike like fate,
For this dangerous ninja will not abate.
In the moon's soft glow, and the starry sky,
The ninja cat roams, a perilous ally.

Obviously, this is a fun tune based on a Commodore 64 classic game music... 😺

Morning light

Believe it or not, this track was born, because i started playing with Spitfire's Christmas instruments (https://labs.spitfireaudio.com/christmas if you are interested).
While i liked the sounds, i did not like the music itself, so i started switching up the instruments and adding more and more of that Argon Antlers sauce i'm working on.

Guess this year i listened to too much deep techno, because at one point it morphed into this repetition of washed and mushy melodies and textures. I tried to use the least amount of musical ideas and then stretch them for as long as possible. I really like what it became.

Even though the sound quality is not as good as before. This time my majestic friend https://soundcloud.com/forgottendreams was not available to mix and master the music. So, I had to mix it, and I gave it to the SoundCloud AI for mastering. Honestly, I don't like the way how it sounds and thought of not releasing this until I know how to handle the mix myself, but I'm postponing my career for so long that taking a pause again would be more painful than accepting some subpar qualities.

Later, I'll make a remix to do some justice for this one. Until then, hope you'll find something in it that is worth hearing.

EDIT at 23.11.12: i replaced the audio file with a new master. It is still far from perfect, but much better than before...

Effelsberg, is one of the most important radio telescopes in the world and one of the largest freely movable ones. Even today. Many years ago, I had the opportunity to join a group of students from the University of Bonn for an introduction to the working methods and global networking of radio astronomy at Effelsberg. It was an unforgettable experience. Beautifully situated in the Eifel, not far from Bonn and Cologne, it does its work in exploring the universe. With the video and the song I would like to take you on an imaginary journey into the depths of space. Enjoy the flavour

Effelsberg, ist eines der bedeutendsten Radioteleskope weltweit und eines der größten frei beweglichen. Auch heute noch. Vor vielen Jahren hatte ich Gelegenheit, mit einer Gruppe von Studenten der Universität Bonn, eine Einführung in die Arbeitsweise und die weltweite Vernetzung der Radioastronomie in Effelsberg mitmachen zu dürfen. I returned after the hearing loss (deaf in the right ear) and a long abstinence to electronic music in 2014/16.
While I used to make music exclusively on hardware synthesizers in my early days, a number of virtual instruments are now in use. My DAW is Ableton Live with a lot of Plugins ;-)
For many years, I have only been able to hear on one hearing. This makes it difficult for me to mix them but I give my best.
Besides music, photography is my great passion, that's also where my artist name comes from. Therefore all pictures and photos that can be seen on Sondcloud are my own work.
