ALY DIOP a grandit dans un environnement de mélomanes qui écoutaient beaucoup le REGGAE d’où parvient ses premières influences.très tôt attiré par le Reggae rap ,lidiop a commencé a reprendre les hits jamaicains de cet époques et s'est rapidement initié en chants et en toasts .

LIDIOP débute la première partie de sa vie artistique a l école primaire avec son frère et un amis tij qui partageaient la même passion.ils formèrent le groupe le YONNE BI POSSE en 1994. Mais pour des raisons qui ne dépendent pas de leur volonté et de déménagement étant fils de gendarme qui bouger chaque anne cause d affectation du papa il a du arrêter le rap

Il se penche sur sa carrière solo et fait ses galons au niveau de la scène a partir de 2005. Son style particuliers lui a valu de nombreux connexion et d'assurer les premières parties des concerts de groupe de renom. Il a participé à de multiples projets et concour

En 2009 il participa a l'emmision de tele realiter SUPER STAR diffuser sur la RTS1 et une autre en 2011 appeler RELEVE BI
faisant parti du collectiv de musiciens reggae appeler natural mystik vibs avec natty jean et autre .
LIDIOP a joue sur beaucoup de place à Dakar comme le Just 4 U qui est un club indispensable dans Dakar faisant la premier partie des grand musiciens comme frere guisse carlou d lui a valu une très grande reconnaissance sur le plan national .maintenant lidiop est installer a paris pour mieux se faire connaitre du français et européen et faire connaitre sa musique et préparer la sortie de son premier album qui verra la participation des artiste comme Meta and the conerstone etc......
