i started teaching a guy guitar but he was already too good so we ended up meeting once a week, switching on a mic and improvising, sometimes with guitars, sometimes without, finding humour in the midst of grisly discoveries on the news, of grief and black clothes, somewhere the 'now' and black humour kept us sane :-)
in the arteries of the east, beside the tributaries to the shipyard
two lunatics doing songs like 'pete the parakeet', 'there's a hook on the wall where i hang fuck all', and 'los demonios de los decibelios'
often by using a dictionary to randomise titles on the spot, then run with them without delay !!!:-)
i thought a byzantine scale would reflect the tottering crumbling civilisation of memory :-))
