Flying in just a day before Richie Hawtin's flagship Minus imprint ventures back to Room One, this next fabric x Minus Mix comes from a duo hotly tipped for greatness. Hailing from Birmingham, Whyt Noyz are the solid partnership of David Sidley and Duncan Murray, long-time friends whose act in exchanging beats has become the starting point for a strong pursuit. Snapped up by Hawtin early on in their venture, the pairs' twisted and forward thinking techno seems to be on par with the Hawtin's agenda, fitting in perfectly with Minus’s legacy of rolling and effective dancefloor beats. Speaking to the guys ahead of their set this coming Saturday, it's pretty clear that they are more than excited to be a part of Minus' growing heritage, something that will no doubt be illustrated sonically when they join Hawtin and fellow stalwart, Marc Faenger in the Room One booth this weekend.
  
So although advance tickets might be fully sold out (please note that you can still buy tickets on the door) we think there's no harm in helping to ramp up the anticipation for what lies ahead by sharing this new and exclusive mix, a feast of selections that they describe as "the kind of tracks you'd find in the final hour"...

It all happened pretty quickly for Alessandro and Federico Fognini. In 2011, after years of making music in one form or another, the two brothers formed a new DJ and production duo: Mind Against. Two years later they'd moved from Italy to Berlin and had their first record out on Life and Death (Atlant), with another two in the pipeline (Avalon and Strange Days). By then their DJ careers had taken off and they were playing somewhere in the world every weekend. It seems they made quite an impression on their audiences: last December, they debuted in our annual Top DJs poll all the way up at #33. 

Sometimes it's hard to say exactly why an act breaks through, but not with these guys. From the off, Mind Against had a signature sound that was immersive and completely their own: cosmic, emotionally rich and banging when it needs to be. RA.482 shows us an especially subtle side of their sound, with 58 minutes of techno that gently ebbs and flows. (Resident Advisor)
