Crosstown Rebels rolled into Warsaw on 18th November, and we were invited to warm up for label boss Damian Lazarus. Our set from the night was recorded; you can check it out here. 

Smolna is an ace venue; reminiscent of clubs in Berlin. No photos are allowed, which we applaud. It’s easy to get lost inside it’s maze of small rooms and corridors which gives the club a raw underground bunker vibe. The kinda place where you stay until long after dawn and still wonder where the time went...

Cosmic Metal Mother started his music career as founder and DJ of the seminal Italian club "Devotion" in 1987. Paolo, who is currently a Buttons resident, has a unique sound that reflects early House and Techno, the psychedelia of left-field Disco and Soul and the uncommon moods of Soft-Rock and the Kosmische sound. San Franciscan trio PillowTalk dish out this weeks mix; a sublime hour long work out which perfectly showcases their wonderfully unique sound. Sammy D, Ryan Williams and Michael Tello's fusion of classic underground house along with modern RnB and boogie flexes all began by jamming around a baby grand piano in a kitchen about a year ago, and now can be heard on labels such as Wolf + Lamb, Life and Death, and Visionquest. Their alluring and charming pop-dance songs are inspired by anyone from the Beach Boys to Larry Heard, and we just can't get enough of them. This podcast is class from start to finish; an absolutely essential listen.
