It is 'time to act our age'!

At an event held by The Gaia Foundation, to discuss the book: 'Active Hope, How to Face the Mess we're in Without Going Crazy', authors Joanna Macy and Chris Johnstone talk about how we can honour the the pain of the challenging times that we are living in. 

They also joyfully illuminate how, by embracing 'Active Hope', we can all share our gifts to be part of the biggest social movement in the history of humankind: 'The Great Turning'.

This is a transition from our destructive industrial growth society to finding healthy non life-exterminating ways of living together. 

Joanna invites us to embrace ways to reconnect: to come from gratitude; not to be afraid of the dark (the pain of our world); to envision the world we want to see; to link arms, and lastly - to act our age! Here she takes us on a journey from our pre-human origins to our most evolved selves today.
