Hopefully it'll help me be less perfectionist, experiment with more styles, and just get the creative juices flowing.

"Sandsailor" - I'm not really too happy about this one.  I'm challenging myself to try new things, and one comfort zone I really haven't stepped out of yet is to try to experiment with more dry sounds.  That is, not so much reverb and delay, just naked instruments without effects.  Songs that do it properly have this kind of confidence and boldness to them that I haven't really been able to capture with my wetter sounds.  
So this is my attempt at a dry track, except for some delay on the lead instrument.  I ended up drowning out the whole spectrum in a fuzzy bass/pad instrument, which is kind of cheating.  The drums suffer from this experiment because I'm used to lots of depth in my drums from reverb effects, but now I have to find depth elsewhere.  Hopefully by the end of these 30 days of experiments, I'll have figured these things out.
