Gabriel Ananda Presents Soulful Techno 03 - Gabriel Ananda and Tiger Rose

Iketa came to my attention last year, and the more I delved into his work, the more amazing music I discovered. So when the chance came along to remix something, I chose his track Burn, which I love, and tried to put my own interpretation on it. The original was already so close to perfection melodically, that I found I couldn't do a lot to improve it. So instead I focused on trying to enhance what was already there, using contrasting sections of soundscapes and detailed sparse beats, and adding builds of saturation to exaggerate each melodic element. I found it was a really nice remix to work on, I hope you like it!

The only instrument that Greg ever really touched was the controversial Aulos flutte that he was forced to play in primary school. This non-start of a musical career coupled to hours of religious listening of Jean-Michel Jarre's records led him to twenty years of passion for Electronic Music and a 4 years pilgrimage to the Berlin Mecca. As he practices intensively at home, he manages to get a first gig in the infamous Golden Gate club for a wedding. This started an uninstiguinshable fire to  share his music-madness through deejaying and party organisation. Back in Paris, he put his hands over the years on the decks of many major clubs of the city including Concrete, Rex Club, Batofar, Péniche Concorde etc. He then creates with his mates an acclaimed party-machine named OTTO10 (http://www.facebook.com/otto10events) where he mastered the party organisation and could invite some of the finest international artists. (Isolée, Soulphiction, Stefan Goldman, Clara3000 etc.). Besides, he becomes monthly resident Dj in the bar-club «The 9B» and creates there the « Spontan500 » party (www.facebook.com/spontan500)  which raged in the Belleville hip neighborhood for over 3 years. The adventure and the quest of new musical horizons brought him to other festive grounds such as Ibiza where he played in several clubs like Viva Club, Ryans and also in some incredible raves on the beach. Nowadays he is embracing the mexican life and it's vibrant musical spirit and is ready to bring a bit of his sweet-crazyness to the local game.
From melodic deep-house to pumpy-techno, he features a broad musical range and can hardly be categorized. You are looking for a common denominator ? There is none. He even made a life philosophy out of it.. Life in Shuffle Mode...

Le seul instrument que Greg n’ai jamais touché est la controversée flute à bec Aulos imposée au collège. De ce non-début de carrière musicale couplé à des heures d’écoute religieuse des vinyles d’Oxygène de Jean-Michel Jarre, se profilent quinze années de passion pour la Musique Électronique et un pèlerinage de plusieurs années à la Mecque Berlinoise. De là lui prend comme un désir viscéral, l’ambition de partager cette impétuosité sonore via le mix et la production de d'évenements à tendance electrico-électroniques.
De retour à Paris, il prends les commandes des platines de nombreux bars et clubs parisiens (Rex Club, Batofar, Péniche Concorde etc.), puis créé avec ses complices, les évènements à succès OTTO10 (https://www.facebook.com/otto10events). Parallèlement en 2013, il devient résident mensuel dans le bar-club "Le 9B" et crée la soirée "Spontan500" (https://www.facebook.com/spontan500). 
Son appétit musical, aussi varié que spontané, vous ballote d’une Deep-House mélo-galopante, à une Techno ludico-poussante. Le dénominateur commun? Il n’y en a pas. Il en fait même une philosophie de vie. Life in Shuffle Mode...
