While the pandemic certainly put a damper on live shows, it clearly gave many artists more time in the studio, making 2021 a year full of new artist albums. This month features tracks off albums from Eli & Fur, Ben Böhmer, and Qrion to name a few. Plus tons more goodness from Le Youth, Jordin Post, Sultan + Shepard, and more.

Our BackTrack this episode is Pryda's 'Lillo', and I've gotta be honest – it was the only track I could find in my crate to get me to this month's closer I wanted to include. Whether a top choice or just a 'Baton Pass', either way it's nice to hear this one again.

Nearly eight years ago, I remember thinking to myself "start with '01' – there's no way you'll be at this long enough to need more". Well, after 100 installments of Sines of Life, I've never been happier to prove myself wrong ☺️ 

My music has grown from a fun hobby to being an integral part of my life. It encourages me to run more, and it scores innumerable memories of cooking, driving, traveling, and barbecues. My life has transformed so much 'From Where We Started', and every chapter has been so immensely unique and rewarding. As I embark on a latest chapter – with a beautiful new daughter in a new home – I am so excited to share my music with her, from the past hundred episodes to the next hundred (I've already got her dancing with me while I'm mixing).

Old favorite artists, new favorite genres, and loads of familiar gems from my younger days at the main stage – this centennial episode packs it all in. As is only befitting, I'm very proud of how this one feels. So as always, enjoy, and turn it up...

The days are growing short and brisk, and the trees in our neighborhood are all awash in warm Autumn colors... puts me in a mellow-mixin' kinda mood 🍂🎼 I've been working on this year's MellowMix for weeks, and it continues to be something I get excited for every year.

At two and a half hours, 'Evergreen Dream' comes in as my second-longest compilation to date – plenty of time to stuff it full of tryptophan-adjacent tunes from myriad artists. Marked by model mellow magnates Hosini, Rohne, Polar Inc., Shallou, Chris Malinchak, and so many more. Plus, softer specimens from our usual suspects – Le Youth, Sultan + Shepard, OCULA, Lane 8, Ben Böhmer, Dezza, and Armin van Buuren.

Last but not least, with a kiddo at home, I'm expanding my sources of music. Joff Bush, the composer for the Australian children's TV show 'Bluey', has got some real talent – and I mean that most sincerely – and 'I Know A Place (The Creek Song)' fits right in with this crowd.

Opening up this show we have the slightly out of character 'Look At Us Now' by the fantastic fictional band Daisy Jones & The Six. I gotta say, for being a fake band, this is some phenomenal listening, and just too good not to play for you.

Following that prime act is a hefty dose of usual suspects Marsh, Le Youth, Sultan + Shepard, OCULA, Lane 8, EMBRZ, and Andrew Bayer. Halloween night can be filled of terrors that will haunt you.. but watching the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man tear up the dance floor to my edit of 'Moar Bustin' is not one of those things – you guys rocked.

Plenty of hot billboard tracks with club twists in this episode to keep you dancing into November, plus a dash of clown techno (obviously)
