The prayer before a crucifix is a great tool that we can use to keep our minds focused on Christ. St Bonaventure says ““He who desires”to go on advancing from virtue to virtue, from grace to grace, should meditate continually on the Passion of Jesus.“  Everytime we pass a crucifix, we should pause, if time permits to reflect on his passion, and contemplate his wounds.  We must remember that because of us, they pierced his hands and feet and numbered all his bones.

Have you been told you're boring?  

In this podcast, I give you two tips on how to improve your level of being seen as an interesting person.

It seems the self perception of being boring is something that is very painful to folks. In some ways, it is encouraging that people are self aware enough to seek help.

Two characteristics of boring people are  that they tend to be tedious and passive during group interactions. The tediousness occurs , especially when they  recount their experiences. They speak with a slow rate of speech and tend to include too many extraneous details that add nothing to the story.
