Two talented Codename: RCRDS regulars combine for 'Sunlight EP', which beautifully showcases these rapidly blossoming atmospheric talents.

Fortune & Chance opens the EP with the futuristic stunner 'In Wonder', beckoning us to look to the skies for our futures. 2nd Strike brings Trident into the fray with the first of the collaborations, a driving tech roller which will work equally well on headphones as the dancefloor. The 2nd joint effort, title track 'Sunlight' offers a dreamier respite, with beautiful strings, double bass and brass washing over you. Perfectly timeless music to bring those memories of sunkissed summers flooding back. Trident closes the EP with the warm liquid tinged 'Do What You Feel', ready to work discerning dancefloors with its inviting combination of house-style vocals and stabs, and vibrant breaks and congas.

Continuing the saga, Addictive Behaviour's Rotation LP spins round once again bringing with it a multitude of talent from across the globe. Previous iterations of the esteemed Rotation series have featured a mix of rising and emerging artists alongside AB faves and regulars. This fourth instalment doesn't break tradition, bringing with it an abundance of fresh new names alongside some very recognisable pseudonyms.

However the one vast difference in this year's offering is the size of the album. The Rotation roster has certainly grown year on year, but where past editions have featured between 8 and 14 tracks this year's offering will be stacked to the brim with an epic 26 brand new cuts curated from over 30 top drawer, future thinking artists who each bring their own unique blend to the table.

Rotation Four is a colourful display of varied styles showcasing an inspiring array of music making skillsets but all of which express that familiar Addictive sound and high levels of production.

Since inception in 2009, Skankandbass has unearthed some of the freshest talents in the scene and has opened many doors for unsigned artists. Now, through Skankandbass Introducing we release a series of free download singles which aims to spread the work of the best unsigned, newcomer artists who deserve more recognition.

SNB067 comes to from Subdue, an exciting Liverpool based talent and brother of recent Skankandbass Introducing alumni Thread.   Despite being a relative newcomer, he has quickly developed his own take on the deeper side of drum & bass with releases on Soul Deep and Riddim Records.  Subdue now kicks off what is sure to be a busy 2020 with the tribal inspired ‘Khagan’, and sublime ‘Get To Me’.

 In recent years Lifestyle and its team has grown profoundly. Without losing focus the label frequently maintains UK club nights and a residency on its home turf of Volks in Brighton.

The labels ever growing nature has become synonymous with quality and variety while maintaining releases that regularly reach the Beatport top 10.
