I wrote this song when I was going through a rough time with my one of my best friends. I hate that feeling when you know you've disappointed someone you really care about. I wrote this song as an apology and a way to express what I was feeling during that time. And yes, we are still friends!

I've been writing since I was a little girl. Every time I'd write a new song, I'd force my mom to listen to me, and without fail, she'd always ask me, "Is this song about me?" I'd always tell her no and give her some long drawn out explanation. So a few years back I decided to write a song inspired by my mom and our relationship.
