Turkish Producer "Volkan Erman" present his new album.His distinctive collaborative style and attention to detail marks him out as having unique creative talent.The "Caustic" EP includes two original tracks. The first track, "Caustic," is a dark, imaginative composition with a hypnotic synth driven by moving baselines and vocal sound effects that layer over the dance floor. The track weaves through sharp transitions and effects before it crashes into a frenzied drop and build. A masterful build with gyrating rhythms and sweeping noise makes for a dynamic drop and suitably massive finale The second track on the EP, "Swirl," begins with a rolling bass line overlaid with a strong beat.The bass line is firm and menacing, pushing the track forward. There's really not much else to say, we'll just let the music do the talking.

On the other side of the melodic spectrum, Ocean surprises with a juxtaposition of gloom and wandering indie vocals. Spiralling on, it reaches a nervous and dance-inducing apex that is only partially relieved, keeping feet moving. The second track dives even further into labyrinthian tech explorations. Starting off with a subdued groove, ‘Hyperion’ progresses into an immersive realm by the way of pulsating drums and psychedelic synths. Berliner Tony Casanova is enlisted for the remix, providing a collateral version of ‘Feelings’. Berlin-based producer HRRSN doles out a slice of deep electronica carrying his distinct vocal style in his otherworldly Lunar Plant EP.

Whether it’s an ethereal intro or an intricate arrangement, HRRSN pours a lot of emotion into his music – bold swells, vocal cut-ups and cinematic strings sit tight on top of resonating drums. Such an apparition is Sane, the immersive opening of the release, where the artist neatly carves out an enduring groove through airy melodics and melancholic vocals.

Signes buzzes in with a stripped down, piano-infused lead line paired with cavernous tribal percussion. Crafting melody into an unsuspecting groove seems to be HRRSN’s forte, as he manages to subtly transition a wave of tension into an expansive breakdown, culminating in an array of broad, light-diffusing synths.

Up swoops through wavy, acid-tinged synth loops on a backdrop of sinewy percussion. Deft noise modulations keep the lead line interesting, as it develops into a weightless, euphoric exploration great for peak-time antics.

Berliners Daniele Di Martino and Solvane join forces at the intersection of Deep and Tech, serving up three weighty cuts of four-to-the-floor heat in their “title” EP.

“Back to” plunges in with a gradually ascending staccato of vibrant synths, laying down the groove bar by bar. In contrast with the light emitting synth array comes a low key bassline, making for a down to earth yet dreamy overall ambiance. Silenced echoes last for a few moments until ‘Reality’ kicks in with subdued groovy bass and faint vocal chops. The two producers aptly use slow paced build ups, creating ever-ascending yet constantly grounded melodies. Stil vor Talent kick-starter Marc Holstege on remix duties delivers a smooth rework of Reality.  A resounding synth lead carves out subtle rhythm variations while metallic percussion adds to the gravity of the piece. 

“Kraxler” touches a different strain of their production spectrum, revealing a composition that is equally introspective as it is dance-inducing. With a minimalist backbone and arpeggiated string arrangements, it suitably rounds off the EP with a mesmerising melody dotted with punchy accents, fit to stir up any dancefloor.

Lost Again kicks off swiftly with a rattling sequence, layered on heavy percussion and suspense-inducing chords. Distorted vocal chops add a sense of mystery, enhancing the spirit of adventure into the unknown imprinted by the melody.. Developing into a spoken word-like sequence, the vocals add to the atmosphere, just before a violin break takes center stage.
End of Game evokes a familiar and nostalgic ambiance, aptly crafted through wistful loops and dreamy percussion. Delving into an array of synths at peak point, it induces a hypnotic state, sustained by high vibrant strings, conjuring up an emotive environment.
Julian Wassermann dives in on remix duties, providing two solid alternatives to End of Game. The first remix strips down the elevated twists, reverting to the melodic backbone and emphasising the track’s dance appeal. The Error Remix offers a more dynamic bend to the construction, that draws in from the get go and surprises with a punch-heavy bassline and compelling groove.
