I made this track few years ago, it has never been released digitally as single. Even though great part of the music I made is for dance-floors, "California" is a song for a different moment..  Given that my work involves a lot of air travel, I really miss being on the road and in the driving seat... When I can, between one gig and another, I jump at the chance for this kind of experience, where the sheer beauty of it all is to lose and then find oneself again. It was during one of these breaks, on the way back to Venice after sunset, after driving through Arizona, Nevada and California, that I began to wonder whether I could write a song to sum-up that precise moment, and now it's here for you! Have an amazing summer!

Two prime Berliner power duos bring their creative forces together in their first joint production, after having previously collaborated on remix duties. 
Emerging from a dark lair overpassing techno and house, Dirty Planet finds the artists putting their collective stamp on the dance agenda, with Kruse & Nuernberg bringing forth their knack for aptly crafted melodies and Mat.Joe packing up dancefloor heat through rhythm and percussion. 

Seems Real kicks off with a zippy synth sequence that plays around a perfect balance of melody and seductive rhythmics. The eerie vocal hook sets a dreamy ambiance as the cut unfolds brimming with subtle bleeps. 

Aside from the bumping bassline that surfaces from the get-go, another element that’s instantly felt on Dirty Planet is the panting vocal sample. Laying a nervous mood from the first beats, the track explores a variety of frequencies by the way of percussive alternations filled with claves and clangs. 

With its united production efforts, Dirty Planet offers up two strapping tracks that bypass the brain and aim straight for the body.

Mainz rooted duo Matchy and Bott serve up three dancefloor heaters for their “Battle Boii” EP.
A traveling bassline opens up the eponymous track, while dramatic synth leads slowly unfold into a dreamy, laid back melody. The ascending groove is slow paced yet intricate, constructing a perfect setting for subtle transitions. On the other side of the melodic spectrum, Ocean surprises with a juxtaposition of gloom and wandering indie vocals. Playful harmonic keys alternate dark synths, forming a looming, ever-approaching backdrop that’s a perfect tension builder. Enrolled for the remix, Lars Moston injects more bass into Ocean’s already high-strung framework. Distorting the original vocals and pairing them with equally contorted synths, the track comes as a powerful floor mover that’s equally dancy as the original.
