Nothing in life is more valuable than friendship. And that is what Ante Perry and Maxim Lany realized when they got together to make this EP. Together, they paid a little visit to some mysterious friends in the small town of Landegem, to make an EP that would perfectly translate their take on the perfect summer sound on one hand, and the dark underground sound on the other hand. The result is, as one could expect, an EP with a huge contrast between both tracks. With a remix by that other respected Dortmund-alliance, Mono Negro, the release features tracks from all sides of the house music spectrum. The expectations are high, love it or hate it, it doesn't matter, as long as you share the feeling!

The Berlin wonderboys Kotelett & Zadak, who regularly create magical moments in the DJ booths of Kater Holzig, Wilde Renate and more, invite you on a summery boat trip on the next Light my Fire, ‘Sailing Sister’. Here, the humorous duo delivers three original cuts that effortlessly move between dreamy disco, wonky after hours material and chugging deep house. The title track is a low-slung disco journey through gentle pianos, mellow guitar licks and psychedelic vocal hooks. Stunning! ‘Got To’ is the track that will keep you going after your second day at the party thanks to it’s swinging percussion and distinct Bar 25 feel-good vibe. On ‘Disconnect the Wire’ the boys repeat a chopped up spoken word over a deep, chord driven arrangement. Lastly, Click Click treats us to a big bass-line, cheerful claps and an extra vocal hook on his catchy ‘Disconnect the Wire’ remix.

Niconé, the versatile musician and likeable style-icon: unshaven and latently bleary-eyed, of course, but elegant and – thankfully – modest at the same time. Over the past years, Alexander Gerlach has become synonymous with a certain playful touch and light-hearted attitude that flows through his music and goes hand in hand with a laidback natural tenor. 2011 saw him release the hugely successful ‘Romantic Thrills’ album together with his good friend and constant partner in crime Sascha Breamer. Now, two years later, Niconé is presenting his first solo full-length, ‘Let Love Begin’, on Stil vor Talent. ‚Burnhain’ gives a taste of what’s to follow and is one of two 12“ EP accompanying the album. 

On the A-side, ‚Burnhain’, classic house sounds such as driving high-hats and 90s rave stabs offer a nod to the past, while hitting the zeitgeist. ‘Querido’, which features Sascha Braemer and the newly discovered vocal talent Yvy, initially drops the energy on the B-side before exploding with Mediterranean life, castanets included for good measure. ‘You Are My Best Meowfucker’ then pushes us back into the club as a techy rhythm and repeated vocal hook draw us to the floor. The track’s twist offers itself in the form of a string loop that lends an oriental edge. Spicy and addictive! Let love begin..

Our newest LMF release comes in the form of a split-EP between two newcomer acts, the Berlin-based Jiggler, who’s had plenty of success under another pseudonym, and the Australian Kwala Kidz, who are celebrating their debut here. For their part, the Kwala Kidz focus on big emotions, as ‘The One’ caters for plenty of hand-in-the-air moments. ‘On My Mind’, on the other hand, is a more straightforward DJ-tool, which is effective and addictive in equal measures. Then, the playfully entitled ‘Jiggle With It’ immediately confirms that Jiggler knows his craft: an elastic bass line wraps itself around a driving groove, accentuated by airy strings and euphoric diva-hooks. Next up, ‘Deeper’ is wonderfully relaxed, while a pumping kick and epic break guarantee it is danceable, too.

As always Kling Klong gives space for new artists and supports upcoming talents. This time Martin Eyerer & Rainer Weichhold had no doubts signing this debut release from Stuttgart's dj/producer Ninetoes as 'Finder' is obviously a massive stand-out track which has the words 'summer hit' written all over it. So it was just easy to convince Leon and Re-UP from Italy to do the remixes and help to make this release even more oustanding.
