Not letting go of that typical electrifying style of his, the Munich-based producer serves up yet another pair of hair-raising floor-focussed stunts, ready to set sound systems ablaze. Geared up with his Moog Sub 37 and OB-6 for main companions, Wassermann has us vibing to a slightly darker and grittier material than his more recent iterations, perfect for that time when the mix needs to tighten its grip on the ravers and the machine funk goes bang. Exploring the confines between Italo-laced electronics and deeper techno folds, this new effort has club incendiary written all over it.
Giving its name to the release, 'Hallodri' is a synth-riddled epic of the finest order. Copiously glazed with FX, filtering and saturations, the track emerges from dubbed-out depths onto interstellar territories like a ghost ship.
