Here at CR HQ we’ve been long time listeners and admirers of Zurich based, Kejeblos and we’re gassed to have him join our ongoing mix series. 

Kejeblos is a man of big taste and big ears that leaps through sounds from all around the globe.

A protegé of Lexx and Alex Dallas from Club Zukunft and Drumpoet Community, Kejeblos belongs to that invincible circle of friends, whose members CCO, Wavetest and Late Invitation are doing the wickedest Chicago House in Liechtenstein, sorry, Switzerland.

Sounds in Waves - Episode 27

When we approached Breixo Martínez a few months ago to contribute with a mix for SOULMEEX DECKS, we were not really expecting such a fast and enthusiastic response from his side. It really made our day to be honest. Much less did we think he would contribute not just one, but two sets. Starting today with the first chapter (expect the second one in late June), let’s begin by telling you a little more about this gentleman.

A cornerstone of Barcelona’s underground scene, Breixo - also known as Abu Sou - is a Galician DJ and selector with a passion for vinyl and genre-crossing sounds. Since 2007, he has been a vital presence at Discos Paradiso and co-founder of the influential radio show and label Canela En Surco, which champions everything from ambient and jazz to deep house and forgotten gems from the Spanish underground.

Breixo’s sets are soulful and richly textured, often rooted in house, funk, disco, and rare global cuts. His ear for music extends beyond DJing: with Pau Roca, he co-runs Escola Records, releasing timeless, analog-driven house music.

He’s hosted and shared stages with heavyweights like Ron Trent, Mr. Scruff, and Floating Points, while also curating reissues and compilations that spotlight lesser-known artists.

Through radio, vinyl, and the dancefloor, Breixo Martínez keeps the spirit of discovery alive digging deep and always playing with purpose.

We are excited to share the next mix in our LOODcast series. It is a special Mix by Studer TM & Carizm. 

I’ve known the Studer TM guys for a long time, probably around 20 years. Back then, they were regulars at the record shop where I worked. We’d spend hours talking about music and bonding over our shared love for organic, warm and atmospheric sounds.

Carizm has also been part of the music scene for around 20 years as a DJ. She is known for her genre-bending sets and a deep appreciation and knowledge of jazz.  Her versatility has landed her gigs at venues like Dachstock, Turnhalle Bern, as well as Radio Bollwerk.

The mix they created for us is the perfect soundtrack to a hot summer day. Eclectic as always with influences ranging from ambient, broken beat, house, rap, bossa nova, rock and beyond.

Music For Dreams Radio Show 12.7.25

Task was pretty easy and simple - collect and put together in one selection all "Ambient" (or whatever) material from various albums from 2018 onwards. 

I had to do it for couple of reasons:

Space Ghost himself didn't put out yet compilation of "ambient works", which would be stellar compilation;

He's mainly known - as far as I'm aware - for his Dance and RnB/Downtempo related stuff... but somehow Ambient was lost between pounding House tracks on releases.

First I heard one album and I was "Aha, ok, cool stuff... ambient to bridge between House music". Then, another album, another, all containing magnificent ambient/new age/esoteric/synth/space works than in the end culminated in my Space Ghost Tidal Ambient playlist. On repeat, for years...

Here's an hour of finest floating music. Hope he'll make some official move to make more of albums like this and release it on - God forbid - Limited 2xCD release.
