Unbreakable

7 months later, I'm a bit unhappy with some of the original mix. I added some reverb to the rhythm guitars, loosened their EQ, and played with the snare a little.

I'm trying to learn how to make ambient / environmental / cinematic-ish music. For this project I found a bunch of images on 
ArtStation and tried to write something that fit the mood.

Neon Rain

I wrote and arranged this in 2020 and forgot about it. Recently I was browsing my old projects and found it, and thought it sounded pretty cool. I decided to mix it using my 2023 ears and see what I could make of it.

Resurrect

A cinematic / soundtrack piece.

Some things I think could be improved:
* Strings sound kind of synthetic. They need vibrato.
* The low end of the drum kit's reverb is a bit annoying when I pay attention, but I'm not sure if I'm just paying *too much* attention.
* The piece is pretty homogenous and repetitive. I'm starting to learn how to create movement / change / variation / novelty, but I need more practise. I think I "locked myself in" to the repetitiveness through my composition.

Intro theme

This feels a little bit like a mishmash of ideas as opposed to a unified song, but I thought I'd get it out anyway. I think I want vocals and lyrics to drive more of the structure and meaning of songs.

Don't Let Go

There's soooo much that I couldn't figure out how to do. That said, I think it sounds better than most of my previous mixes for my original songs. Maybe. It's kinda thin. Help!
