"Óperencia" is a mythical land that exists in Hungarian folklore and literature, often portrayed as a distant, fantastical realm, beyond the remote "Óperenciás" sea. In various tales, it is depicted as a place of magic, inhabited by legendary creatures, brave heroes, and daunting challenges.

The laboratory had been lost within the haze that had enveloped the nation’s fall, abandoned by the scientists who had conducted their abhorrent experiments upon the abductees they had plucked from those forgotten throughout its decades of slow collapse. Some of those most scrupulous amongst them had simply terminated their tests before their flight, but many still yet languished in the agonies of their ongoing torment, their pleas silenced by the bounds of the facility that held them. As the weeks progressed, many of these unfortunates fell silent as the unrestrained experimental environments that housed them took their ultimate toll, and in the months that followed the facility’s population dwindled into nothingness - all save for two revenant souls trapped within its very core.

Borne of the most horrific trials that the facility had wrought, these twin survivors had clung to life by pure strength of will alone. There, in the complete darkness of their shared isolation, their bodies were rendered unrecognizable and their identities were stripped by all that they had endured. It was the first gentle murmur of a breeze that had awoken them from their years-long torment, a sensation that stirred within them the faintest memory of what once had been. Upon this single lasting memory, the pair swore vengeance upon not only those who had perpetrated their suffering but the whole form of life that had enabled it, and set out from the depths of the laboratory with a single aim, They stood now to return what to them had been given, to unleash unimaginable horror AGAINST HUMANITY as a whole. 

Those of the EATBRAIN horde who seek the thrill of fear should heed the call of AGAINST HUMANITY, who emerge to make their debut on the label with IN THE DARK, the first release from the masked duo that weaves a penchant for cinematic sound design within the Neurofunk rhythms that drive the EP’s four tracks in a fearsome fusion of theme and talent.
