Thank Goodness for Piccadilly Records: their weekly mail-out saved the day. Watch out for the raucous opener from Lightfoils, but then you can ease back in your seat for Bdrmm's more poppy sounds and some dreamy electro pop from White Flowers (think Cocteau Twins meet Low). AT this point you should put on your (House/Electronic) dancing shoes for Shinichi Atobe and keep them on for Lee Kelly, the slightly quirky sounds of Erol Alkan, Rival Consoles, Gabriele Poso, Kalbata & Mayaan Nidam, before chilling out to the closing sounds of Ian Eccles-Smith. I'm a big admirer of White Flowers, and I do like the Erol Alkan and Ian Eccles-Smith tracks, but Lee Kelly's "Our Place in Time" gets this week's best track pick.
