Here is the techno set I played on the new Bunker Floor at beautiful Westhafen Leipzig this summer.

For quite a time it was only a a long-held dream; but on 13th July I had the big honor to play even twice in one of my all-time-favourite clubs. So thankful to everybody involved, especially to WESTHAFEN LEIPZIG - want to say a a huge THANK YOU here! <3

We started with a 3h b2b of Roberto.B and myself at the Outdoor Floor, where we vibed in the sun with some melodic house.

Just a short break to breathe & then I had the honor to play the night opening of Bunker Floor - which got a little faster & harder! To all of you who´ve been there, it was a pleasure to rave into the night with you! <3

White Noise @ Westhafen Leipzig [Bunker] 13.07.2024

Hey everyone. This is Goldhawk here and this is my set from Notsilly Festival on Saturday 12th July. I dug deep with this one and pulled out some true beauties from my library which encapsulates my sound. Out of the 60+ sets I’ve published to SoundCloud this is THE ONE. Light and dark, hard and soft, magical instruments, tribal drum programming, sounds from nature, influences from Indian, African and Middle Eastern cultures, remixes and edits of classics in my style, alongside tracks and acapellas with beautiful lyrics.

It was a scorching hot couple of days and a real privilege to play to my favourite festival crew, some of whom I’ve known for 9 years since first going to Noisily Festival in 2016. 450 of us came together in Mountsorrel, Leicestershire on the River Soar, off the back of Noisily Festival being cancelled by Live Nation.

It was a real triumph, especially as it was all organised in 2 months and completely sold out. The organisers even had to secure additional fields so we could up the capacity and number of stages. Hats off to Vish, Lawrence, Adam and all the amazing people that helped make this happen. You are all legends in my eyes. The first ever Notsilly Festival will be etched into my brain forever and I can’t wait to return next year.

Live from Notsilly Fest's Party Tunnel Saturday July 12th 01:30 - 03:30 am. It suffices to say, the greatest challenge of all was following an incredible hard hitting set from Gavin @nd3ce3nt who left me and everyone in the tunnel with jelly thighs, but with just enough fuel to deliver a dark (and hopeful) two hour sonic journey ranging from 92 - 180 BPM. This set is near and dear to me as it draws inspiration from my own life story, channeling the emotional, yet hopeful, rollercoaster I've been on over the last year or so. Each track carefully selected, down to title names and featured lyrics, intended to craft a story. There is always light at the end of the tunnel and Notsilly's Party Tunnel certainly delivered! “Bak Bak” opens the EP with high-octane flair. Cinematic yet controlled, it fuses taut synthlines, crisp percussion, and sweeping atmospheres to create a perfectly paced peak-time moment. Futuristic and bold, it reflects Kiko’s ability to channel drama and depth in equal measure.

On the flip, “Like a Robot” dives into a more brooding, hypnotic zone. Mechanical and moody, its angular synths and percussive grooves move with robotic finesse, while delicate harmonic layers add soul beneath the steel. The result is a dark-edged roller that still carries an emotional core — classic Kiko.

With over 30 years in the game, Kiko continues to push boundaries. Following a wave of major releases on labels like Afterlife, Diynamic, Watergate, etc. His 2024 highlights include the high-profile collaboration of his track HOME with David Guetta and Olivier Giacomotto on Spinnin’ Records, as well as his forthcoming studio album Digital Family featuring Agoria, Etienne de Crécy, Oxia, and more.

Fresh off signings to Solomun’s Diynamic and Adam Beyer’s Truesoul, Kiko shows no signs of slowing down, and Bak Bak EP is a powerful reminder of why he remains one of the genre’s most enduring and forward-thinking voices.

light gal is a rising star of London’s house and techno scene. Drawing influence from such labels as Terminal M, Drumcode, and Innervisions, as well listing DJs like Charlotte De Witte, Mha Iri and Massano as some of her many inspirations, light gal creates unique and exploratory sets ranging from dark and melodic to peak time techno. With appearances at across Ibiza, Florida as well as various venues accross London such as Ministry of Sound, Corsica Studios and Dalston Superstore, she is quickly emerging as a talent to watch.

Born in Surrey, one of her first introductions to dance music was during primary school, listening to compilations of Ibiza summer hits. She attended Reigate College, whose alumni include Disclosure and Fatboy Slim, and went on to study a Masters degree at the University of Bristol in Maths and Computer Science. It was here that her passion for the music was truly cemented, becoming a frequent visitor to legendary Bristol venues like Lakota, Motion, and Dojo Nightclub. After her studies, she moved back to Surrey, concentrating on her craft while working at the Academy of Contemporary Music.

She was first drawn to dance music through early underground dubstep from the likes of artists such as Plastician and Rusko. When the genre began to die down it opened her eyes to different sounds and styles, particularly house and techno. “The thing I love about the style of house I play is that everyone can be happy and dance along even if they don’t know the songs - it’s that sort of vibe. But with techno though, it’s the opposite. Dark, cold, industrial, yet melodic - but still stuff you can dance to!”

Light Gal kick-started her DJ career by performing in Ibiza over the Summer of 2017. During her time on the island, she performed at Ibiza Rocks and Hush nightclub, and was so well-received that she was invited back the following year. Since then, she has been busy - performing across London and establishing her own event ‘Minority Influence,’ which hopes to disprove the opinions and biases of people who consider the house and techno scene to be exclusively white and male, and looks forward to organising its next instalment soon. Between gigs, Light gal is currently curating DERILIKT Techno - a series of dark and melodic mixes, and the bi-annual Pure House Anthems, packed with UK House dance floor fillers.
