“Kolectiv & MEDIKA, two names who’re no strangers to the Diffrent family. The former, return to the camp with their first artist release on the label since 2014’s ‘Immortalis EP’ and the latter, a debut appearance from Bristol based Medika, experimental Drum & Bass producer who’s been on the promoter circuit for quite some time, supporting Diffrent from early. 
The team here have put together their signature styles and fused into a no filler single with loads of underground vibes, half time energy and sinister themes that both artist’s are know for.

‘Paid In Blood’, the more hyperactive of the two tracks touches down on footwork-esq rhythms, bashful beats, pulsating bass and pitched vocal chops… ‘Underground’ visits a more sub-low, crunchy bass, halftime eire atmospheric soundscape. Each carrying their own charm, both complimentary of one another yet totally different in character.

This single is just a little taste of what’s to come from the pairing, there’s more in the pipelines coming next year, so keep your ears to the ground!

Returning to the Dispatch main label this October, we are pleased to present the ‘Last Call EP’ from Survival, a formidable four tracker, spanning the full breadth of his unique sound.

Following a busy few months, with Survival releasing the ‘Take It Back’ album and a Dispatch Dubplate (amongst other commitments), the fruits of his labour continue to blossom, with quality music flowing that still feels distinctively different to his previous.

The production shows no signs of haste, yet the vibe instils a distinctive urgency into any set; it is carefully constructed, but naturally formed and the EP spans from frantic stomper ‘Cold Food’, to the haunting lushness of ‘Only’ and the crisp, tantalising bass pressure of ‘Roots’.
Serving up a stellar selection, Survival blesses Dispatch once again, with an outstanding EP.

“Dexta and Crypticz are delighted to announce their long awaited 12” single, ‘Together’, featuring two remixes from Munich-based Danny Scrilla. Two years in the making, the project will finally see the light of day on 10th November 2017 via Diffrent Music.

A fusion of Drum & Bass, Jungle, House and Garage, ‘Together’ is built for the dancefloor. The track borrows vocals and breaks from the early ‘90s, while blending drum machines, bass samples and vintage effect processes crafted by Dexta & Crypticz.

Danny Scrilla debuts on the label with a pair of remixes. The ‘Reslice’, is a great example of signature Scrilla, manipulating the original parts into an exploration of dubby, half time soundsystem music. His ‘Reflop’, meanwhile, is a 140bpm re-think, splicing chopped up breaks and bass stabs from the original along with strong percussion lines and weird vocal edits.

Since his outing on Hospital Records in 2015, and his debut ‘SE4 EP’ on Diffrent Music last year, Dexta – otherwise known as Londoner Chris Royle – has released the third part in an ongoing series for None60 Recordings, honing tracks for dancefloors and stereos alike.

Somerset’s Crypticz (aka Jordan Parsons) has had quite an eventful 12 months, with his ‘Echo Sound EP’ on Doc Scott’s 31 Recordings, and more recently the ‘Forever EP’ Om Unit’s Cosmic Bridge imprint, while evolving his club performance from a DJ set to a custom live show consisting solely of his own music and explorations in sound design. This single comes two weeks after his latest release, the ‘Access You EP’, also on Diffent Music, which set a new benchmark for Jordan, refining his sound to its highest quality.

Danny Scrilla (born Daniel Pirkl) has gone from strength to strength this year, dropping a cassette tape project on Cosmic Bridge, compiled of 16 synth and hardware-led experiments. Last month Dan also released a collaborative 12” with Sam Binga called ‘Weird In Munich’ – a superb effort, pushing boundaries from both their usual styles – before putting out an EP for Amit’s AMAR imprint in early September.

Returning to Dispatch this November, London based duo SCAR distort any preconceptions with their fourth label release; the ‘Twisted EP’.

Building on an armory of heavyweight dancefloor tools, including February’s ‘Veiled Threats EP’, SCAR consolidate their sound, whilst probing and switching the style.
