It’s time for our 23rd release and we welcome back a Crossfrontier Audio favourite. With his last release – “Back To Yours” – a big success, MUUI delivers yet another impressive EP. From infectious, funk-driven melodies to darker, more tech-house beats, MUUI presents us with 2 distinctly different originals as well as a remix; further cementing him as an artists to watch.
On remix duties we are thrilled to have Aidan Lavelle, whose releases on Rebellion as well as his remixes for Layo & Bushwacka and Samuel Dan are some of our favourite tracks. Aidan’s remix is a deep yet melodic offering, with a memorable bassline and a catchy groove.
Next up, label head Marc Poppcke delivers us a remix that is a driving and melodic affair; true to his signature style.
Last but not least, MUUI himself steps up and shows us he’s able to cross genres with ease; with his dark, techno-infused remix that is destined to keep dance floors packed til the morning hours.
There’s a little something for everyone in this EP.

Resampled piano from the iPhone voice recorder of Darya Barmina, flute from the legendary Nastya Maslova, fat and elastic bass from Roman Miussky, magical percussion from Valentin Golovachev (Valique) and quite direct references to Kool And The Gang, Roy Ayers and Quincy Jones are combined with the vibe of Kaytranada, Jarreau Vandal and Kolombo.

With KASTIS TORRAU, our Lithuanian guy, and releasing the 2nd time on our Jannowitz, has contributed a cheezy remix in his own progressive style. Our new powerful and energetic BOHO Project around Jannowitz label owner LARS KOHL took his influence to go for a modern way of an lightweight industrial groove, while MATTHIAS SEIBERT, well known from his long term residency at Jet Beach in Ibiza and our new addition to the Jannowitz family, is putting his own twisted magic into the vocals and chopping it up in a truly oldschool way. As a record label, Chicago's Vested does what its event mother brand has been doing since inception: curating quality music that blurs the lines between genres while keeping musical integrity whole.

The label's fourth installment is no different. Featuring an original track from Lithuanian international music powerhouse – Donatello, and a quality and finely crafted reinterpretation from Russian progressive house mainstay Rise And Fall, Vested's Futura EP drops on 29th December as a welcome holiday present for music fans world over.
