Following a string of releases on a who’s who of top labels such as Planet Euphorique, Salt Mines, Haws and Craigie Knowes, prog-trance pioneer Lisene drops a full-length LP on his On Rotation imprint. With 8 hyper-detailed tracks ranging from club-focused techno, progressive and electro to slo-mo downtempo, Lisene brings his A-game to an album sure to cement his place as one of the most exciting producers and DJs in the UK’s underground music scene. 

Created over several years with a perfectionist’s attention to detail, “Science Friction” flits between moods and sonic environments with ease while retaining the cohesion of Lisene’s inimitable production style. Despite being an album, this is still very much a record for the DJs, featuring heads-down club tracks and bass-heavy electro crafted with precision and a cinematic sense of scale. For the home listeners, expansive slo-mo soundscapes and cerebral synth odysseys float high above the clouds, with widescreen details revealing themselves ever further with each re-play.

“This album has been 15 years in the making and represents a culmination of everything I’ve worked towards in defining my own sound and style without letting myself be pigeonholed. I’m immensely proud of each track -  it really reflects where I was at musically while making this, while giving a glimpse into my future sound. Originally sent as a promo email to us, we couldn't help but jump at the opportunity at making this our first release. It only seemed fitting that it's their first release too, although you wouldn't be able to tell that from the stellar production quality of these cosmic tunes.

Kicking things off with 'Magic Carpet Delivery Service', experience blissful summery highs before delving deep into the eponymous track, 'Dance Science', which promises to rumble club systems and festival stages around the globe alike.

Bringing you back to reality, 'Polar Sunrise' incorporates infectious energy with euphoric basslines and breakbeats, completed with a no-nonsense remix from Kalani featuring disorientating, distorted vocals and a breakdown set to turn things upside down.

Ending things on a relaxed high, 'Pharoah's Curse' floats nonchalantly through the atmosphere, letting your mind wander with it's bubbly synth-work and curious, shifting melodies.

TRANCE ATLANTYK is dropping some serious heat with the upcoming release of EARLY ZEROS, the latest EP from label founders PANKOFF & DJ VARIUS TRAX. After experimenting with some polish vocals on their “Sound of Poldon” debut EP, the duo serves us this time a modern high-energy tribute to the early 2000s—an era when progressive house and trance ruled the dance floors.

The EP kicks off with "Early Zeros," a track that’s pure nostalgia wrapped in a slick, modern package. Think of it as a sonic time machine, zooming you back to those legendary nights when the bass was thumping, and the vibe was electric. It’s got that uplifting, feel-good energy that’s impossible to resist.

Next up is "Schemes," a track that’s as deep as it is groovy.
