I had Your name on my lips,
but You were knocking on my heart.
Father, You weren’t trying to teach me,
Jesus, You were tearing me apart.

I knew the stories, knew the lines,
knew how belief should look.
But I kept control in my own hands,
never letting You read my book.

how to smile and still pretend.
But Christ didn’t come to walk beside me,
He came to live deep within.

I was scared of losing who I was,
afraid of what You’d see.
But love doesn’t knock to borrow space,

When Christ moved in,

He touched the places I would hide,
brought my doubts into the light.

He spoke the Father into my chest
and healed my unbelief.

I read the Word with guarded eyes,
trying to stay the same.
But truth doesn’t exist to comfort pride,
it comes to call your name.

Israel heard but never let You in,
and I was doing that too.
I wanted answers without surrender,
but Christ was asking for truth.

You were speaking all along,
I just muted out the sound.
But when Christ entered my inner world,
my whole life turned around.

When Christ moved in,
He didn’t flatter me.
He separated what I felt
from who I’m meant to be.

When Christ moved in,
the Father came alive.
Not religion in my head,
He became my life.

I didn’t need a better version,
I needed truth inside my chest.
Not a system, not a feeling,
I needed Christ to do the rest.

Letters never changed my heart,
but His presence rearranged me.
The Word became a Person,
and His love re-introduced me.

Spirit leading every step,
Father claiming what is His.
When Christ lives inside your heart,
that’s where real faith begins.

Christ was never sent to decorate
a comfortable belief.
He came to rule the inner man
and pull out unbelief.

Where He doesn’t enter fully,
the old self stays alive.
But where Christ reigns inside the heart,
the Father’s love arrives.

Now Christ lives inside me,
not as letters, not as law.
He’s the living Son revealing
the Father that I saw.

Now Christ lives inside me,
not a role, not a name.
When Christ moves into your heart,
nothing stays the same.

No more letters without life.
No more faith without fire.
Christ didn’t come to visit me.

He came to live.
