Moon Harbour keeps on rolling in the New Year with label regulars Melanie Ribbe and Chris Di Perri joining forces on a trio of top new tech house tracks. 
London Academy of Music Production graduate Melanie Ribbe had a huge summer in 2023, playing big sets at the likes of Hi Ibiza and Ushuaïa for ANTS amongst others. She is German-born but Jamaican-raised and draws on those influences in her music which joins the dots between Caribbean beaches and hypnotic techno. Here she works with Di Perri who was last on the label with his For You Homie EPin 2022 and since then Solar Elektro Sound resident has served up petty more underground anthems on the likes of ElrowRecords.

'OG Chords' kicks off with toms peppering a taught and tight groove. The drums are rubbery, the bass is fat and explosive synths and yelping vocals bring the whole thing to life in a way that will raise the roof. The brilliant 'Like That' is another full-flavoured track with a monstrous and elastic bassline under popping drum programming and intense vocal loops. It's pure heat for the club and last of all is 'Takin It' which is the most raw and direct of the lot. Once again dark vocals, thudding drums and twisted synths all interlink to a hypnotic effect. 
This is a superb coming together of two of tech house's freshest talents.

Julian Collazos brings his expressive and electric grooves to Moon Harbour with standout new EP Londresway.Belonging to the second wave of DJs and producers from Yumbo, Colombia, Collazos has been immersed in music from a young age, in particular salsa and bolero. His father is a skilled salsa percussionist so all this fees into his production, which is rich inpercussive elements, vibrant, and picturesque, seamlessly blending with styles such as minimal and tech on Ultra Records, Mindshake Records, Stereo Productions and countless more. The title track kicks off with chiselled kicks and sharpened hi-hats that ride on the warm bass and popping synth stabs. It's a trippy sound that gets never more loopy and woozy and is sure to melt minds. 'Mambo Latino' is a signature Collazos cut for the way it brings South American percussion to bass-driven house. The gloopy low ends and warped vocals bring fluidity to the groove while sun-kissed synths speak of red-hot open-air dancing. Last but not least, 'No Me Hables De Mujeres' spins out the dance floor with its descending leads and Spanish raps, sweat-inducing beats and raw filters that keep on building the pressure to breaking point. This is another fiery and irresistible offering from the Colombian mainstay, Julian Collazos.

Before you lie a landscape marked by monumental topography, a cacophony of mesas, sheer cliffs, and ravines that tumble almost instantaneously into each other. A world aeons older than your own, the pervasive natural forces of the universe have sculpted it into a masterpiece of flora and stone. From the cliffsides cascade an endless ecosystem of epiphytic vines, grasping gracefully onto the knurled surface of the exposed sandstone. Far below, the rainwater that runs filtered through the mountainsides gathers in cerulean pools in the depths of the ravines, which glisten gently in the light of the few rays of sunlight that reach their surfaces. What new life might lurk hidden amidst these crevasses, striding upon the sandstone or soaring above it? Coiled around the portal, the VISION SERPENT now promises an elder knowledge, something long lost yet intrinsically tied to all that surrounds you, something that can be found only amidst the bounties of this lush and beautiful land. YVC make their VISION SERPENT debut with PIECE OF MIND, a single that features a pair of remixes from 8Kicks & Krypta. The title track's determined bassline rolls out beneath an assortment of glitched sonic fragments that flit about within its darkened atmosphere, with 8kick's remix redefining the low-end motion and incorporating a mysterious melodic motif. This is followed by WHEN IT COMES, the single's B-side from YVC which thrums with galvanic tonalities that emanate from its driving rhythmic core. Krypta's remix closes the EP by rerouting these tonal currents, folding them back on themselves for an expertly warped take on the original track.

The Black Diamonds Ambient label has returned with the new “Sea Poems” EP from Mosko. This follows on from his 2020 debut release “Ambient Inventions” which was received with stellar reviews.

Sea Poems was conceived to musically capture the feeling of how waves rise, becoming apparently separate, and then fall again to merge seamlessly again with the sea. The compositions were formed with repetitive chords flowing in the background and the smooth contours of the melody rising and falling, as if waves in the sea. Mosko delicately layers his ambient guitar lines to evoke the harmonious atmosphere of the morning sea.

The songs from Sea Poems evolved through a collaboration called Visual Sounds with the Brazilian artist, Claudia de Grandi, which was an experimental art project that existed from 2015 to 2017. Visual Sounds explored the juxtaposition of art and music through musical improvisations and live painting with performances in London, Berlin and Tokyo.

The image featured on the album cover is from Claudia de Grandi and is entitled “Waves 3”. The painting was part of a series which was done in response to the dialogue Claudia and Mosko had about music and painting.

Mosko has also created beautiful music videos for the album featuring stunning underwater video footage from the photographer, Samantha Isom, and produced by video artist Ashley Dupree. The video footage was shot on location by Samantha in Maui, Bonaire, Sumbawa and Gili Island in Indonesia, as well as St Croix

Roei Malka aka Alt Control is an electronic music producer and DJ, which is based in the north of Israel. Despite he is only 22, he has been gaining lots of respect and is considered a very promising talent in the electronic landscape. His productions are crafted with an extremely mature approach and an implacable sound, perfectly suited to the dance-floor with its powerful grip and astonishing trippy vocals and sounds.
Alt Control is making his debut on Camel Riders with 'Senegal' EP, which includes 2 originals and 3 remixes. First, we have the EP's theme track 'Senegal' which is characterized by a roaring base-line with energetic darkish melodies, accompanied by warm yet trippy vocals that create a perfect synergy between tribal traditions and futuristic electronics. The 2nd original by Atl Control, titled 'Pasa Quo' follows Sengal's vibe with a driving atmosphere, blending guitar riffs and slick percussions with a delicious bass and some touches of nomadic vocals. On remix duty, we have 3 beautiful artists that made their own interpretation of the EP's theme track. The french producer Jack Essek created a melodic remix which gives the track a deeper perspective. 2nd is the Japanese producer Mamazu with his punchy and psychedelic vision of Senegal, seasoned with pleasurable Hi-hats giving this deep tale a fresh perspective. Last but not least is the Lithuanian producer Roe Deers with a raw and industrial remix, giving the track a dark narcotic and very mysterious vibe. Enjoy!
