I recorded a real nice experiment.  At the end I looped tracks I was playing live, and a track I had looped.  It was a long loop and it all was being recorded at once.  In the end I played with the feedback of two digital delays.  I then tweaked, and played with that mess.  Then my computer crashed before I could save anything.  Frustrated.  I decided to try and redo what I did.  This is that result.  Not the levels I would have liked of the live, VS the looped, but when I went to rerecord what had been lost.  I wasn't dealing with the same settings as the previous run.  I still like it, and it reminds me to try, and learn more about what I'm trying to do.  Possibly I will start to remember those sorts of things.  Also I hope I grabbed the right recording.  Oh computers, why aren't you as easy as the push of a button, and a few other buttons, and then well I digress.  Thanks for listening! Lake Trip 2 - 1

My buddy Terry and I were just trying to get to know Abelton software.  This is a sort of test we came up with, and it turned out pretty decent.  Terry did two guitar tracks, I put a guitar lead, and two bass lines, a vocal line, and we both agreed on a simple, but odd drum midi track, and a simple sound synth midi track as well.

Line 6 Rifftracker is a fun way to mess around with tunes.  Especially when you don't have a stable of musicians knocking down your down on a regular basis.  Lately I've been trying to get a lot more familiar with ABLETON.  The idea of live, and studio can be two different entities.  Just working to wrap my head around each of these issues and place a decent foot forward each day.  I'm unheard, unknown, but I have a nice time.

Messing around with a single take over a layer of cool tracks David Bon had set up in his former garage studio.  Amazed at the results of a microphone cordless test, and a guitar track through my line 6 pod xt.  I still find it funny to hear myself produced in this way.  

Ryan's Hope

Existence is currently imaginary, but there is a real fire, and a need to do something musical with my time. I don't dance so I'll take my joy in tempo, dynamics, and the variety found in an odd construct I can't place my finger on, but it makes me smile.  I've been in a couple bands, and just thought this would be a nice change.
