"The Future" is the new single by Wheatness, a project created by Odesa-based musician Dmytro Vaskovets, who was already featured on our debut compilation "VA. NOTATOK 1" with the piano diary recording called "Sprahy Kvit". This single reveals a different direction in which the artist works: dream-pop that gravitates towards shoegaze.

In these three songs, Dmytro skillfully combines the smoothness of the composition and sincerity in conveying the emotional component. With his usual form (from the time of participation in the Rivne band Night Dew Call), he cuts out everything superfluous to achieve a complete melodic ornament.

«The Future» є новим синглом проєкту Wheatness, за яким стоїть одеський музикант Дмитро Васьковець, що вже був представлений на нашій дебютній компіляції «VA. NOTATOK 1» фортепіанно-щоденниковим записом «Sprahy Kvit». Цей сингл розкриває інший напрям, у якому працює артист: дрім-поп, що тяжіє до шугейзу.

У цих трьох піснях Дмитро вправно поєднує ладність композиції та щирість у передачі емоційної складової. Зі звичної для себе форми (ще з часів участі у рівненському гурті Night Dew Call) він уміло висікає усе зайве, щоби досягти довершеного мелодійного орнаменту.
