i doubt anyone will even care but i really like the title of this song so i'll explain it. as you can already tell, this ep is about the feeling of drowning (metaphorically or even physically, you decide), and i wasn't sure if the outro should either symbolize finally running out of breath or rising to the surface. now "morgen" is the german word for morning, which can be a metaphor for resurrection. on the other hand "morgens" are welsh and breton water spirits that drown men. so ultimately, it means both running out of breath and rising back to the surface!
