UK based Lilac Sheer began writing and composing at the tender age of 10. She trained in classical ‘Bel Canto’ and served in the IDF as a lead singer in the Air Force band. Upon her release, Lilac spent a year in the US, where she absorbed the local influences, and became infatuated with American music. 

While living in Israel, Lilac formed her own ensemble, playing in shows that incorporated her original songs into Folk & Country classics, as well as releasing 2 cover albums. Her dream of recording an Americana-style album was realized in 2010, when she travelled to Nashville to record her first all-original album, telling her life story in her own lyrics and music.

In June 2013 Lilac pulled a complete 180°, left her entire life behind and moved to London. She began promoting her new Nashville-recorded Americana album, which was fittingly titled A Different Country. Lilac has since toured both the UK and Europe, leaving audiences spellbound by her versatile talent, but even more so by her fierce emotional conviction.
