This is a cover of one of the songs I love 'Don't Let Go' by the wonderful En Vogue. I love this song, it's passionate, powerful, sensual and I tried to channel that emotion into the song. This is also the first time I've looped with a keyboard and the first time I've used a keyboard and a guitar in one performance.

Don't Let Go (En Vogue loop-pedal cover)

The song is about how many creatives suffer from mental health issues, myself included, and how they can take you over and cloud your judgement. The creature also represents addiction which is often caused by mental health issues and unlike the stigma.

The song was originally composed many years ago in Logic with looped digital instruments and me singing and "rapping" over the top. Years later I decided to rework some parts of it and create an acoustic version of the song, later I decided to create a loop pedal version. 

I plan to do a studio recording of this song as well as a few other of my originals later this year. Keep your ears cleared for some heavy guitars, drums and creepy vocals coming to all digital platforms very soon!

This is a demo I recorded and produced. The song is basicly about insecurity. The insecurity that people are better than you so you do all sorts of things to try and equal them or be better than them.

Summoned By The Sound

This was something I wrote about how I was feeling about turning 28 and originally meant to be something I'd read out in a little video but then it turned into a whole song and video. I wrote this the day before my birthday (March 2nd) and recorded the video on my birthday. Hope you enjoy it!

Today is my birthday, I’ve made it, I’ve lived past the cursed 27, I will not join the fallen, Mother nature rest their souls.
Wow, 28, I’m 2 years away from the big three O and I cannot wait to be 30 flirty and thriving. 
Honestly, some days I feel like I’m just surviving, conserving my energy but I’m still enjoying life, I am determined to enjoy it. 

I’m immensely proud of how much I’ve grown over the years, increasing my knowledge of self and taking care of myself with cups of tea, good shows on Youtube and Netflix, good books, cathartic jams on my piano and guitar and most importantly, naps.

I’ve got a lot planned for this year and the next coming years and I’ve learned how to work around my limitations and when to gently push them. 
With patience and persistence I make good things happen in my own time.

If I were to describe Natasha, Tash, Lilac Underworld, Pixie T or however you know me, they are just many names for the same being, I would say that she is chaos, she is elegance, she is playfulness, she is softness, darkness and power. 
The inner child that will never die, the fire that can never be put out even when it is but a flickering flame and she is brilliant and she needs to remember this. 

So here’s to my 28th year on this earth and to many more and I look to the future with a heart full of pride and eyes wide open with awe.

This is a personification of the transition between Autumn and Winter as a sapphic romance and the only time they can meet is during this transition period.

The Romance of Autumn and Winter

This is a song I wrote when I had a lot of turbulent emotions within myself and I needed to get them out in a creative way to process them so I came up with the piano riff you hear in the song, put a beat over it and then rapped some lyrics over it and sang a chorus. Some of the lyrics were changed since the first version but the majority of them are still the same as when I first rapped and sang them in the moment.

This is an acoustic cover of the infamous 'Zombie' by The Cranberries. This song is particularly significant to me as it's one of the first few covers I learned when I started out as a solo artist. I think I was drawn to it because of the power and emotion behind the song and as I struggled to identify and express emotion as a teen I learned how to do it through music.

Zombie (The Cranberries Cover)

This an arrangement I created for one of my songs 'Undercover Humanoid'. The song is about dealing with depression and dissociation and warped thoughts. The reason I called this song 'Undercover Humanoid' because when you're in that state of mind you feel disconnected and alien and expressing emotion becomes acting.

Linkin Park was one of my favourite bands as a teen and I still love their music. When I heard about Chester's passing it really hit me and eventually I decided to have a crack at covering 'In The End'. It took me a while to figure out how to do it as I know how to rap my own lyrics but to embody somebody else's is a really difficult task and eventually I found a way that worked for me by performing it as if I were performing a musical theatre or spoken-word piece which helped channel the emotion of the song.

This song is mainly about  the feeling you get when you want to be inspired or cannot find the perfect idea and that joy you feel when you finally find something. To me my creative side is like another world which has a mind of its own and comes and goes when it pleases and when I have a 'writer's block' or when I feel uninspired I long for its 'embrace' and when it finally does return it returns so suddenly that it almost feels like I've been hit by some sort of electic current.

This a loop pedal rendition of one of my original songs 'Wonderous Minds'. 
Under it's dark Nirvana-influenced tone is a message of positivity; it is a song for dreamers, creatives, visionaries, people who don't fit in, to keep striving to achieve their goals even if it is simply happiness! The song came from reflecting on my childhood and how anxious I was about the world and I felt very out of place and how making music in my teens helped me change from feeling vulnerable to feeling powerful. It is a song written as a reminder of how far I've come and to keep going that I now share with others.
I plan to record the full arrangement of this song in the near future so keep an ear and an eye out for it!
