A journey created very much in the moment, no planning whatsoever, for a beautiful group of wild Punatics at Space City for the third of Shon Escholada's Summer Saturday Sunset Series. This one starts with an ambient original composition I did with my friends Laura and Kirt of "Creative Frequencies" and Tyler Gibson of Birds of Paradise on wood flute, goes into a gorgeous psybass track by Hedflux, (layered a Tori Amos track on-top, briefly...  wasn't an easy mix!) then into some unique deep dubstep and bass music, then moves through downtempo organic, into Afro House with some unique broken beat stuff mixed in.  I like it.  The crowd liked it.  I hope you like it.

We are proud to present Warm Introduction EP by Terrifique, the latest release on Fresh Beats Records, the official imprint of LSEM. As our ninth release (FRBR009), this radiant five-tracker is a love letter to sun-drenched dancefloors, nostalgic grooves, and heartfelt connection.

Terrifique, also known as South Manchester-born, London-based DJ and producer Spencer Terry, is a member of the disco-centric crew Desert Island Disco, renowned for their euphoric festival sets and crate-digging sensibility. His solo material is equally distinctive: a warm analogue sound palette fused with modern production techniques, designed to move both body and soul.

The EP opens with Un Poco Picante, a slow-burning Balearic house cut that conjures late afternoons and coastal breezes, all simmering just below the surface. Built on sensual percussion and soft-focus textures, it’s a track that tastes of the Med.
Take That Love picks up the pace with a bouncing bassline and infectious vocal chops that spiral into a high-energy workout. This one’s pure serotonin, tailor-made for peak-time hands-in-the-air moments.

With Something (About You), Terrifique leans into the spirit of summer festivals. It’s a polished, hook-laden roller that balances club tension with pop sensibility, a testament to the artist’s instinct for writing music that’s as emotionally resonant as it is danceable.
Bonjour Amour slows things down again with lush piano chords and wistful French vocals. It’s a closing-time classic in the making, bittersweet and cinematic, evoking memories of a summer fling that lingers long after the lights go up.

On the remix, Mont Vernon reimagines Bonjour Amour as a deep house groover with an old-school twist. It’s understated but undeniable, ready for terrace sessions or sunrise sets alike.
Once again, Fresh Beats Records shines a light on the talent emerging from our Advanced Music Production Course. Warm Introduction EP is an open invitation into Terrifique’s sonic world: rich in feeling, grounded in groove, and destined for dancefloors everywhere.
