Obviously I did not create this; it was a perk reward, part of a pledgemusic.com campaign for Devin Townsend's Casualties of Cool album. Devin has been one of my musical heroes ever since I discovered Strapping Young Lad back in high school so it's still surreal for me to hear this.

Eddie Bowley voices the character of Douglas, the assistant in my Dr. Monster cartoon series. I love the outtakes he sent me as he tried to deliver a particularly tongue-twisting line: "Rap-battling monsters wielding terrible holiday-based puns?" I made this in September 1991; I had just turned 10. I think this might be the first thing I ever recorded myself (that I still have access to). It's pretty cringe-inducing but it amuses me. I used a Fisher Price record player and a cheap little Casio keyboard. Nothing was set to a click so all the parts just sort of flail around out of time with each other. I had access to my dad's 4-track Tascam cassette recorder which was actually a pretty sophisticated piece of gear at the time. 

I did a dumb little remix in 2007. Who knows, maybe it's time for a 2015 update on this MC Fatty Fatso classic.
