Kakki is Japanese for energetic. I love incorporating Japanese culture into my mixes. There are instruments, chants and scales from my home country.

I love locking into a groove and letting the tracks choose themselves; I really got into the flow on this one.

Here is a live recording of my set from Akasha in Ibiza earlier this season complete with two power cuts!

The entire north of the island lost power for over 45 minutes. Twice!  Big love to the Akasha crew who just stayed smoking on the roof and then piled back onto the dancefloor when I started playing again. Guy J came on after me and played some amazing music. I hope the energy comes through in the recording. Love that place.

I played six brand new unreleased tracks in the mix and was so happy with the reaction. Let me know what you think they are.

I wanted to make a DJ mix that highlighted the range of sounds and inspirations from my Wabi Sabi EP on HE.SHE.THEY. 

I love old rave, deep rolling melodies, breaks and nagging grooves. I love the challenge of weaving these together. There's also a bunch of unreleased treats in the mix as well.
