although the current weather conditions don’t necessarily agree, summer is closing in on us rapidly! and what better way to wait for the sun than with a brand new summer track!

i started this project just over a month as a tool for my sets, to honour this legendary discobanger. the french/english contrast fit perfectly to the incoming summerschedule, so i decided to bring it back to life in a fresh 174bpm coating. 

originally i wasn’t planning on releasing this one anytime soon, but i felt like this track had been too well received on the dancefloors, and i didn’t want to leave you guys empty handed for too long! 

a lot of effort was put into cleaning up this project, so i really hope you like the way it turned out! 

thankyou for the support, i can’t wait to start the summertour.

Manu Chao is one of my favourite artists and he was the headliner to the first festival I attended back in 2016 in Barcelona. 
I remember listening to this particular joint on the radio in my mother's car heading the beach on a hot summer day, so many warm memories attatched to this song.
After I became a music producer listening to music was never the same: always analyzing and thinking what could i have done on a record. But, after all, there's a good thing about this behaviour.
One day, a few weeks ago, I listened to this song and I immediately thought "This has a kind of a drum and bass vibe!" 
So I immediately opened up Logic and laid down the remix like it was meant to be. I sent it over to Djs and posted a clip online and the response since then has been incredible, so yeah, here you have it! Enjoint ;)

*Hoping Manu Chao hears it and makes it official tbh*
