AMUSED is an audio visual artist from the north of Sweden, recently relocated to Oslo. They have scavenged the internet for dripping broken beats and steamy pop to put in a hot mix for QSS. Fun fact! You can more often find them DJing in the Metaverse than IRL with obsolete equipment such as a mini-disc player. — This is the second edition of Queer Sauna Sessions. AND: It is a double one.

“INVERNO - Your ghost” available on the first VA of IN A MOOD.
A Berlin-base FLINTA run & focused collective, that provided last summer, 3 rounds of meet-ups at GIRI Berlin, where FLINTA producers could gather, listen to others’ tracks and give feedback.

Through this process, I transformed the track I created in December 2023. What began as a saturated, angry piece evolved into a journey of sad, celestial pads, haunting drones, dark, gloomy textures, and harmonised vocals: a delicate balance of melancholy and beauty.

“Your Ghost” might be my way to say a (temporary??) goodbye to Industrial Techno music production; as I don’t entirely recognise myself anymore in this genre.
I will keep exploring soundscapes that are more aligned with my feelings and mental health state.

Vehemence presents their second V/A compilation, Liminal Drift - a ten-track exploration of uncharted sonic realms where intensity and introspection collide. 

Vehemence has carefully curated a selection of artists who challenge convention, blending atmospheric tension with kinetic energy. Among Cydia, Disgrays, Shugo Noss, Abo Abo, LAES, Disto, Liso, AWHM and Komet99 are two of their own residents, Vidarr and Surt. 

Liminal Drift thrives on unpredictability, channeling the raw, unfiltered energy that defines our community while embracing a fearless approach to sound design and emotional storytelling. The compilation itself is a liminal space, constructing a world where tension and release are in constant flux.
