The Wave by Vertigo x Lil Lacy,  is an exploration of the nature of waves in water, air and light. From the physical waves in the ocean and light waves to radio waves and waves of energy. The waves move in different ways - some amplify each other while other forms diminish or even erase each other, as well as there are phenomenons of among others standing waves and waves moving in families.

The art collective Vertigo, that designed and built The Wave, has in close collaboration and dialogue with the composer Lil Lacy, created a new light scenography inspired by theme of waves. Both sound and light is inspired the nature of waves and movement. Even the color scale of the light scenography is inspired by the breaking of white light into all the colors of the spectrum.

The process of healing has many layers; the loss of a loved one, a broken heart, a broken trust in oneself or other people, a broken dream, society or world...
A longing for a shared care and awareness of the people and world surrounding us.

You're somehow connected reflects our time, culture, dreams about the future and reality based upon what came before us, 
where we are now and what will come in the future. It reflects on how we are all somehow connected.

You’re somehow connected is inspired by August Strindberg’s 'A Dream Play'; an impression of life on planet Earth described by Agnes, the daughter of the Vedic god Indra. The dream play describes aspects of being human through different voices, characters and perspectives in a chaos in which it is complex to navigate, a movement that expands itself in a constant changing environment of dream and reality, the real and the surreal.
