This is the 7th song posted from the album I have been working on using demo tracks given to me by Wou-Wou & the Wormling during the start of the pandemic! I can't believe how fast time has passed and how long we have been working on this project. 4 songs from the album are based on a graphic novel that Wou-Wou had started before the pandemic began. The rest of the songs are reflections of the weird times we were living in.

Big thanks to Wou Wou, Bit-zone, and Stricknice for still being here after all these years. I have known and worked with people on SoundCloud probably longer than I have known high school friends, college friends, and friends from various jobs. Huge thanks to Guitar Wizards of the Future. I remember when I first began participating in the SoundCloud community, I would always eagerly anticipate a new GWOTF track, especially because I grew up in Oakland California. Was happy to participate in another Josh Clary jam!  
This one has an awesome vocal from Steve's Planet and the usual line up brings it here as well with...
Josh on the monster bass
Tez ripping the guitar rhythm and leads
Ken pounding out the beatz and 
JJ making it pretty with those keys. 
I was able to work in the solo in the second half and, with the help of K2 Ken get out a solid production with a nice mix and master.   I believe Tez may have added a bit as well to the post production. 

Basically it was really a true group effort.   Josh is really good with keeping things group focused and having the whole band work within his idea and vision for a song and yet still having the ability to contribute your own unique sounds.

Another fun time with a great group!

Second Floor  - (Eclectic Collective)

This one is kind of an experimental deal.  The main riff has 12 guitars, each with something different about it.  Each of the 12 lines was played on a different guitar.  Some are tuned in octaves to the others, some from a mic'd amp, some from sims etc.. 
I wasn't going for a tight doubled guitar sound like you normally want, I wanted the sound of a dozen guitars sounding like a big loud thing.  
The beat for this comes from one of my friend's son, Zack, who is new to all of this and is just learning his DAW at age 19 and this was written on top of his beat so thanks Zack!
Also big thanks to Stonerjazz for the title and to Rekha for the amazing background vocal in this!
