SUMMER COLLECTION

The very moment when my brother Brian rang me and told me that he had been diagnosed with a form of Leukaemia will stay with me as long as I exist. Although he went into older brother mode telling me all of the positive treatments available including the various lengthy timescales involved it didn't stop it hitting me like a rock. I am not proud of feeling very selfish and thinking, “You cannot do this…I have lots of plans and a lot of them involve you…” 
The time scales were much shorter than Bri or anyone expected and the massive void that has been left in my life will never be filled. 
This song is about that moment, this song is about an angel in disguise, this song is about my greatest musical hero, this song is about my King, this song is about my brother Bri.
The music and backing vocals are just amazing on this track and I cannot thank Hans, Jimmie and my brother Gal enough for making this song everything I wanted it to be. (Terry Reeves)

Wou-Wou & the Wormling, Pretzels Malone, Jam York & the Couch King - Dedication To The Hypocrites

My first ever collaboration with a guy I have always loved and admired for god knows how long on the cloud. He is none other than my good friend Hans Michael more recently known as a.k.a. Clouders For. 

A few weeks ago my good friend Hans put a piece of music out as an open collab to which he entitled "Life Is". The music was in fact a slandered blues piece, but nothing is ever standard with this guys approach to it. For me Hans is a guy who very much as a personal touch of his own in every way. He is one of my top guitarists on the cloud who you will instantly recognise with his touch on the guitar. His style is formidable and what he did here instantly appealed to myself when I first heard it.  I knew I could add my own personal touch to Hans music and make it in a way to say something even more about Rock rather than the Blues, and it had a load of scope to use vocal expression to which I myself love.

The title alone Hans chose for his piece of music, I instantly latched onto and decided to call it "Life Is.. (Nothing But A freak Show). It was a great subject matter  for me to write about and try and put myself in the frame of living as a real freak. 

A freak in reality is something abnormal or a person with a deformity that instantly looks out of place with what one is used to seeing. Many moons ago such a person being deformed or looking out of place, people would pay money for and put on display as some sort of monster in a museum or a travelling Circus.

One very person who did such a thing back in the 1800's was a chap by the name of Phineas Barnum. he saw it as a way of making a profit out of and making a good living for himself. Yet for the Freak in reality it was nothing but a way to be ridiculed and treated badly by such people without any real feelings at all, and laugh at and abuse them.

I would like to thank my good friend Hans for letting me use his great music for my own personal visualisation here, and in reality it has made me get off my arse regarding my own skin condition which plagues  me every year and even makes me feel like a Freak.

Mankind has spent years abusing this earth by robbing it of its resources for profit and giving nothing back in return to the precious gift of an environment that has brought so much to us as humans and the many other life forms that inhabit its reaches. Yet there remains always a hope that some day humanity will advance to a stage where they realize that no amount of money in the world can buy or replace what we take for granted every single day and so we must do everything we can to protect this cocoon which continuously supports life of all forms and us as a supposedly intelligent species have the greatest responsibility of all to stop fighting wars that bring death and destruction to our home planet which will eventually threaten our very own survival. At some point globally enforceable initiatives will need to be implemented if we are to protect our earth. We need to immediately stop fighting each other and to put all the fight into preserving our earth which will some day save our own ass as a species!
