I wrote this song 2 years ago, when I was tired of going to parties or social events and watching people fail to connect. How many times have you been asked the question, "How are you?" and really felt you could answer honestly rather than brush this aside.Too many times we ask questions and never give people the time to answer with more than a short reply. Too many times we are more interested in other people's conversations rather than connecting in with the person standing in front of us. This is what inspired this song, vague small talk that has no intention of going any deeper.

This is a cover of a Bee Gees tune, I've taken a lot of inspiration from Feist's version of this tune as I did it for a recital in the 2nd yr of my uni degree, Hope you enjoy :)

This tune has a really strong message and all throughout has strong imagery of open spaces in relationships and the importance of vulnerability. It talks about people's physical walls that can sometimes never be broken down and the heartache this can cause for people that love them.
