This is the first EDM song I've made that is fully complete. This song started because of a drum pattern that I liked as a result of one of the first VoiceThread lectures. I took heavy inspiration from early house songs from the likes of Crystal Waters, Klaus Veen, and more. I also incorporated elements of funk music, which makes this song very danceable.

Can't Stop

This is honestly one of my favorite songs I have ever made. The intro is a little long, but I don't want to shorten it. I think that the panning I used in the intro makes this song super interesting to listen to- especially with the tone of synth I used in this song. It then seamlessly transitions to the very danceable melody that occurs throughout most of the song.

Zoom

This is my take on techno/deep house. I wanted to use a grime/UK voice acapella for this track because it helped keep up the upbeat tempo and "serious" vibe of this song. This song would probably go crazy in the car with the punchy bass/synth that occurs throughout the whole song. This along with the punchy but simple drum patterns make this a banger.

Laser Punch

This track was an expansion of my learning in the DnB subgenre, which is definitely one of my favorites. I used a variety of different synth voices and patterns on this project- as well as 2 different songs to bring diversity to this track. I love DnB "rollers," so I tried my best to bring influences of this and my previous projects.
