Who is 6LACK?

6lack signed a record deal with Flo Rida's International Music Group/Strong Arm Records in July 2011. He left Valdosta State University once he signed, and spent the next few years learning about the industry. 6lack spent five years with the label, putting music out on his SoundCloud account. 6lack had little financial security and spent most of his time sleeping in the studio or outside on the street after moving to Miami to work on music with the record label.[8]

6lack eventually left his label due to issues over artistic license and management.[9] Once he left the label, he signed with LoveRenaissance and Interscope Records.[1]

In November 2016, Rolling Stone included 6lack in their list of "10 New Artists You Need to Know".[10] He then went on to release his debut studio album, Free 6lack, which peaked at number 34 on the Billboard 200 chart.[11] The album's single "Prblms" peaked at number 73 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and became his first platinum record.[12]

In April 2017, 6lack joined Canadian singer The Weeknd as opening act for his Legend of the Fall tour in North America. In April 2018, he released the single "OTW" with Khalid and Ty Dolla Sign, which has reached at number 57 on the Billboard Hot 100.[13]

Who is Playboi Carti?

Carti released his eponymous debut mixtape in April 2017.[11] The release gained attention from various music publications, including XXL,[3] Pitchfork,[12] Spin,[4] HotNewHipHop,[13] and PopMatters,[14] and reached No. 12 on the Billboard 200.[15] The mixtape spawned two successful singles, "Magnolia,” which reached No. 29 on the Billboard Hot 100,[15] and "Woke Up Like This" featuring Lil Uzi Vert, which reached No. 76.[15] Accompanying the mixtape's release, Carti embarked on a tour with Gucci Mane and Dreezy.[16]

On June 13, 2017, Playboi Carti was named as one of the ten of XXL's "2017 Freshman Class."[17] Around this time, he was featured on A$AP Mob's single "Raf" from their album Cozy Tapes Vol. 2: Too Cozy and Lana del Rey's single "Summer Bummer" from her album Lust For Life.

Who is Octavian?

Oliver Godji (born 1996), better known by his stage name Octavian, is a French-British rapper from London. He released his first full-length mixtape, Spaceman, on 10 September 2018, and has appeared on tracks by Mura Masa and A2. He is signed to the Sony label Black Butter.

He was born in Lille, France, from an Angolan family. After his father died he moved to London when he was three with his mother, and settled in Camberwell, South London.[1] As a teenager he won a scholarship to the Brit school, but dropped out.[2]

His first mixtape, 22, was released in 2016, followed by the Essie World EP in 2017.[1] Octavian's recognition increased in January 2018 after an Instagram video of Drake singing along to the track "Party Here" at a Golden Globes after party.[1][3]

The Fader have described Octavian's sound as a mixture of house, rap, and drill, as well as noting that his sound was influenced by Drake and Bon Iver.[4] Pitchfork have described the sound as mixing "R&B and dancehall with downbeat grime, peppy house, and UK hip-hop".[5] Critics have disagreed about how to classify Octavian's style, with High Snobiety noting that he is "Too British to be labeled trap but too American to be classed as grime".[citation needed]

The Guardian described his 2018 mixtape Spaceman as "a spectacular medley of the past decade of UK subgenres – the raspy-voiced rapper amalgamates elements of drill, grime and house to create something dextrous and distinctive."[2] Pitchfork described the release as "daring eclecticism".[6]

In August 2018, Octavian signed with Sony/ATV and Stellar Songs.[7]

Who is 21 Savage?

Underground Atlanta rapper who released a debut project called The Slaughter Tape. He would later put out a follow up tape called Slaughter King. He released his debut studio album titled Issa Album in July 2017.

Before Fame
In the 7th grade, he was expelled from DeKalb County schools for gun possession. In 2013, his friend was murdered and he was shot six times. It was at this point that he turned to rap music.

Trivia
He collaborated on an EP with Metro Boomin called SavageBoomin.  Jake Paul posted a YouTube video with him in 2017.

Family Life
His real name is Shayaa Joseph. From 2017 to 2018, he dated Amber Rose.
