There is a pads part in this track which recalls me a lot the the Simple Minds sound of the eighties. So I decided to call the track Simple Maids, which sounds very similar to the band's name.

I wrote this song in December 2020 with just my vocals and piano. In December 2021 I added more instruments and did another layer on my vocals. Now it's December 2022, this project has over 3 years of vocal progression mixed together which is why I think is has an eerier vibe considering the theme of loss...
