Birds of Paradise, members of the Paradisaeidae family, are mainly found in Papua New Guinea and are varied in 39 different species. Each species has a unique plume of wild colours and perfect patterns, solely worn by the male. 

There comes a time in the life of every Bird of Paradise where the process for continuing one's hereditary gene-set must be passed on. Armed with a perfectly ill-timed click and the wing flexibility for pose, the male takes its place on the jungle stage. The females judge; and the most intricate showing wins the ability see into the future.

What you're listening to is an interpretation of the thought process behind the bird's stage presence. The thought of the next life brazenly fought for on a stage as mysterious as the jungle floor.

I'm a bit moody at the mo, and this is the result.

Since my last upload, I've learned a lot about house music and mixing and production in the past few months. Played a few gigs as well, which taught me a lot about the genre. 

I do think this mix is audibly different from my usual eclectic vibe. 
It's proper house, proper deep house. Groovy. 
It's ultimately the result of my time and life living away from home. 

Dare I say it's my favourite? 
It's what I want to hear when I go out.
